Synopsis
Fauda, meaning “Chaos” in Arabic, offers a gripping and intense portrayal of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict by presenting the perspectives of both sides. The story follows Doron, the commander of an undercover Israeli special forces unit, and his team as they operate inside Palestinian territories in pursuit of Abu-Ahmed, a notorious Hamas militant held responsible for the deaths of 143 Israelis. At the same time, the series explores Abu-Ahmed’s life and his family, revealing the personal struggles, beliefs, and motivations that shape their lives amid the ongoing conflict. Refusing to accept the State of Israel, Abu-Ahmed remains determined to continue his armed struggle for as long as he believes necessary.
